How do we identify what needs addressing?

Through assessment and collaborative psychological formulation
We aim to collaboratively develop a formulation, which put simply, is a process that allows us, in consultation with you, to make sense of your concerns and struggles. This is to better inform quality evidence-based interventions tailored to your needs and circumstances. By learning about you, key experiences in your life and taking all factors internal to you, and in your world, into account, difficulties and strengths are revealed, which allows us to come up with strategies to begin working towards change, and your goals.
We use a number of tools in developing a formulation; including assessing where relevant, personality, neurodiversity, mental health, and criminogenic factors.

How do we support positive change?

Through an Integrative approach tailored to you
An integrative approach to intervention/treatment combines various therapeutic modalities to create a tailored plan to suit your needs, circumstances and desired outcomes. It is underpinned by psychological assessment and formulation.
It acknowledges that different clients may benefit from different therapeutic approaches and elements of various approaches are utilised to suit you.
This approach is person-centred and flexible.

Some of the modalities drawn upon include:
